The Hightstown Rams football squad scored 39 points and limited the host Allentown Redbirds to 6 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Rams face the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) in a West Jersey - Capitol game, on Friday, October 24. Hightstown will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 31-13 league win over Steinert (Hamilton, NJ).

The Redbirds (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish come into the West Jersey - Capitol outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame trounced Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ), 14-7, in a league outing.
