Texas High School Football - Irvin falls to Austin

October 17, 2025: El Paso, TX 79930

The Austin Panthers ran past the visiting Irvin Rockets football squad by a count of 28-0 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a 4A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 24. Austin will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 57-3 league win over Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Irvin drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rockets host Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to face the Indians in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Ysleta won 43-12 in their recent league challenge against Clint (Clint, TX)
