Louisiana High School Football - Avoyelles prevails Holy Savior Menard

In Friday's league match, the host Avoyelles Mustangs football squad scored a good 24-16 triumph over the Holy Savior Menard Eagles.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Bolton Academy (Alexandria, LA). The Bears come into the non-league match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Bolton Academy was beaten by East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA), 60-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Kinder Yellowjackets (Kinder, LA) in a 2A District 5 match, on Friday, October 24. Holy Savior Menard will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a 7-0 record after their 50-13 league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, LA).
