In Friday's league game, the Brown City Green Devils (Brown City, MI) football team edged the host Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), by a tally of 34-30.

In their next game, the Green Devils battle the Bridgman Bees (Bridgman, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 24. Brown City will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Bees come into the outing with a 7-1 record after their 44-8 league win over New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI).
