    The Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN) football were winner over the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), 29-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

    The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Livingston Academy for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, October 24. Macon County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-8 league loss to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.

    With the defeat, Barren County drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY) to clash with the Dragons in a 5A District 2 outing on Friday, October 24. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Warren Central lost 30-12 in their recent league contest against Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY)
