In Friday's league match, the host Somerville Yeguas football squad scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Bartlett Bulldogs.
The Yeguas (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Granger (Granger, TX). The Lions go into the 2A-2 Region IV District 13 battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Granger prevailed over Iola (Iola, TX), 56-14, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Milano for a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 challenge on Friday, October 24. Bartlett will play a Eagles team coming off a 47-14 league loss to Burton (Burton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
