Beaver Local Beavers (Lisbon, OH) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Cambridge Bobcats (Cambridge, OH), 42-0 in a non-league match.
The Beavers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Lakeview (Cortland, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Lakeview was routed by Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 42-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) in a Ohio Valley AAAA match, on Friday, October 24. Cambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 28-21 league win over Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).
