The Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts football squad scored 72 points and limited the host Bellaire Eagles to 6 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlanta for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Mio-Au Sable will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 38-16 non-league win over Engadine (Engadine, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 3-5.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Portagers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Onekama bounced Baldwin (Baldwin, MI), 66-6, in a league challenge.
