Ohio High School Football - Union Local prevails Bellaire

October 17, 2025: Belmont, OH 43718

In Friday's league match, the host Union Local Jets football squad scored a good 38-13 win over the Bellaire Big Reds.

With the win, Union Local improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Jets host Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. The Shamrocks go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Barnesville lost 42-21 in their recent non-league battle against Independence (Coal City, WV)

With the defeat, Bellaire drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Big reds host Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH) to meet the Purple Riders in a Ohio Valley AAAA test on Friday, October 24. The Purple Riders come into the test with a record of 6-3. Martins Ferry lost 28-20 in their recent league test against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV)
