The Benton Academy Raiders football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles to 14 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Humphreys Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Benton Academy will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 34-10 non-league win over Christ Covenant (Ridgeland, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Porter's Chapel Academy drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Christ Covenant (Ridgeland, MS) to meet the in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Christ Covenant lost 34-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS)
