The Benton Central Bison football team (Oxford, IN), was crushed 55-0 in Friday's league match with the visiting Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN)

The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Wabash (Wabash, IN). The Apaches enter the non-league match with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Wabash walloped Whitko (South Whitley, IN), 36-35, in a league battle.

The Bison now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Frankton for a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. Benton Central will play a Eagles team coming off a 34-27 league loss to Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
