New York High School Football - Columbia defeats Bethlehem Central

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) and the visiting Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY), witnessed Columbia's football squad topple Bethlehem Central by a count of 28-18.
The Blue Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors enter the Section 2 A - Capital contest with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Niskayuna overcame Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY), 69-8, in a league battle.
The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Institute for a Section 2 A - Capital battle on Friday, October 24. Bethlehem Central will play a Cadets team coming off a 34-8 league loss to Troy (Troy, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 0-7.
