McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Bishop Kelley Comets (Tulsa, OK), 31-23 in a league battle.

With the win, McAlester advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Buffaloes host Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) to play the Hornets in a 5A District 3 match on Friday, October 24. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 5-2. Booker T. Washington won 48-0 in their recent league match against East Central (Tulsa, OK)
