The College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals football team (Jamestown, NC), was crushed 59-18 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC)

With the win, Bishop McGuinness advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Villains host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Greater Triad 1A/2A contest on Friday, October 31. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 8-0.

Coming up next, the Royals confront the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A contest, on Friday, October 24. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 43-13 league loss to South Davidson (Denton, NC).
