The St. Bernard Vikings edged the host Bishop Montgomery Knights football team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA) in a Camino Real challenge, on Friday, October 24. St. Bernard will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Valiants enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 42-13 non-league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars enter the Camino Real challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Mary Star of the Sea held off Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA), 73-0, in a league game.
