The Thibodaux Tigers football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Bourgeois Braves to 3 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eleanor McMain for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Thibodaux will face a Mustangs team coming off a 52-6 league loss to Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.
The Braves (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Terrebonne (Houma, LA). The Tigers come into the 5A District 8 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Terrebonne topped East St. John (Reserve, LA), 52-14, in a league test.
