The crowd at Friday's league contest between the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) and the visiting Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA), witnessed North Scott's football squad wallop Burlington by a count of 51-7.
The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats enter the 4A District 3 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Davenport North walloped Davenport West (Davenport, IA), 47-0, in a league battle.
The Grayhounds now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Western Dubuque for a 4A District 3 battle on Friday, October 24. Burlington will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 54-0 league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-2.
