Burlington Huskies (Burlington, WY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Riverside Rebels (Basin, WY), 27-8 in a league match.
The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Midwest (Midwest, WY). The Oilers come into the 6-Man North (6 Man) match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Midwest was beaten by Meeteetse (Meeteetse, WY), 46-25, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Rebels confront the Meeteetse Longhorns (Meeteetse, WY) in a 6-Man North (6 Man) match, on Thursday, October 23. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 46-25 league win over Midwest (Midwest, WY).
