New Mexico High School Football - Clayton overwhelmed by Escalante

The Escalante Lobos trounced the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets football squad by a margin of 50-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Lobos now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Sumner/House for a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 24. Escalante will clash with a squad coming off a 52-0 league win over Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The record now stands at 7-0.

The Yellowjackets (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats enter the 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Questa was trounced by Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 40-30, in a league game.
