The Johnson Jaguars football team (Buda, TX), was tipped 23-21 in Friday's league bout with the host Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX)

With the win, Clemens advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to East Central (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, October 31. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Jaguars now hold a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Central for a 6A Region IV District 29 match on Friday, October 24. Johnson will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 28-7 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-6.
