    • New Mexico High School Football - Clovis falls to Hobbs

    October 17, 2025: Clovis, NM 88101

    The Hobbs Eagles felled the host Clovis Wildcats football team by a score of 51-29 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Eagles face the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 6A District 3 test, on Thursday, October 23. Hobbs will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 54-8 league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM).

    With the defeat, Clovis drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to face the Hawks in a 6A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Centennial won 54-8 in their recent league challenge against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)
