In Friday's league match, the host Mars Hill Bible Panthers football squad scored a decisive 55-0 victory over the Colbert Heights Wildcats.

The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Clements (Athens, AL). The Colts enter the 3A Region 7 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Clements routed Sheffield (Sheffield, AL), 28-27, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL) in a 3A Region 7 match, on Friday, October 24. Colbert Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 39-37 league win over Rogers (Florence, AL).
