Texas High School Football - Pewitt tops Como-Pickton

The Pewitt Brahmas football team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles to 22 in the Brahmas league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Brahmas play the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Pewitt will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 42-7 league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX).
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Boles toppled Pewitt (Omaha, TX), 31-26, in a league challenge.
