The Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) football trounced the visiting Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE), 39-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Neumann for a C2 District 1 outing on Friday, October 24. Raymond Central will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 31-13 league win over Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Conestoga falls to 1-7 on the year. The Cougars host Palmyra (Palmyra, NE) to battle the Panthers in a C2 District 1 game on Friday, October 24. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-6. Palmyra lost 49-13 in their recent league game against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE)
