Alabama High School Football - Monroe County felled by Cottage Hill Christian Academy

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors (Mobile, AL) and the host Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL), witnessed Cottage Hill Christian Academy's football squad topple Monroe County by a count of 20-0.

With the win, Cottage Hill Christian Academy advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors host Flomaton (Flomaton, AL) to play the Hurricanes in a 3A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 24. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Flomaton won 19-6 in their recent league battle against Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL)

The Tigers now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Excel for a 3A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 24. Monroe County will play a Panthers team coming off a 35-7 league loss to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
