Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX), 42-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Cotulla improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Young Men's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX) to meet the in a 3A-2 Region IV District 15 test on Friday, October 24. The come into the test with a record of 0-7. Young Men's Leadership Academy lost 38-0 in their recent league test against Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX)

With the defeat, Natalia drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Poth (Poth, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 3A-2 Region IV District 15 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 6-1. Poth won 27-20 in their recent league test against Stockdale (Stockdale, TX)
