Tennessee High School Football - Ridgeway nudges Craigmont

In Friday's league match, the host Ridgeway Roadrunners football squad scored a close 8-6 triumph over the Craigmont Chiefs.
The Roadrunners (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tomcats come into the 4A Region 8 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Haywood tipped Memphis Business Academy (Memphis, TN), 42-40, in a non-league battle.
The Chiefs now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeland Preparatory for a 4A Region 8 battle on Friday, October 24. Craigmont will play a Lions team coming off a 29-27 league loss to Kirby (Memphis, TN). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
