Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) and the host Fort Campbell Falcons (Fort Campbell, KY), saw Crittenden County's football team gain a win over Fort Campbell by a count of 42-31.
The Rockets (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers enter the 2A District 1 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Caldwell County thwarted Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 61-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a 2A District 1 match, on Friday, October 24. Fort Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 58-6 league win over Trigg County (Cadiz, KY).
