The Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) football tipped the visiting Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ), 13-7 in Friday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oakcrest for a West Jersey - Liberty outing on Friday, October 24. Lower Cape May will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 23-20 league loss to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Cumberland drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Absegami (Galloway, NJ) to clash with the Braves in a West Jersey - Liberty contest on Friday, October 24. The Braves enter the contest with a record of 3-5. Absegami won 47-14 in their recent league bout against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ)
