Texas High School Football - Somerset knocked off by Davenport

October 17, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78266

In Friday's league outing, the Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) football squad knocked off the visiting Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX), by a margin of 47-23.

The Wolves now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uvalde for a 4A-1 Region IV District 14 outing on Friday, October 24. Davenport will clash with a Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) squad coming off a 47-7 league loss to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Somerset drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A-1 Region IV District 14 outing on Friday, October 24. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-3. Pleasanton won 28-21 in their recent league game against Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX)
