Indiana High School Football - Decatur Central trounces Franklin Community

October 17, 2025: Indianapolis, IN 46221

In Friday's league battle, the host Decatur Central Hawks football team scored a big 48-10 win over the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs.

With the win, Decatur Central advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hawks host North Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, October 31. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-7. North Central lost 69-35 in their recent league match against Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN)

Coming up next, the Grizzly Cubs confront the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 31. Franklin Community will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 7-2 record after their 28-16 non-league loss to Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN).
