The Deer Creek Warriors walloped the visiting North Sunflower Academy Rebels football team by a score of 52-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 24. Deer Creek will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 54-22 non-league loss to DeSoto (West Helena, AR).
With the defeat, North Sunflower Academy drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Delta Academy (Marks, MS) to meet the Raiders in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 24. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-8. Delta Academy lost 80-60 in their recent non-league test against Lee Academy (Marianna, AR)
