The Deer Lakes Lancers football squad scored 29 points and limited the host Valley Vikings to 14 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.
The Lancers now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burrell for a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 test on Friday, October 24. Deer Lakes will clash with a Bucs squad coming off a 53-7 league loss to Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bucs record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, Valley drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to clash with the Golden Rams in a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 test on Friday, October 24. The Golden Rams come into the test with a record of 6-3. Highlands won 38-12 in their recent non-league test against McGuffey (Claysville, PA)
