North Carolina High School Football - Draughn winner over West Caldwell

October 17, 2025: Lenoir, NC 28645

The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) football overcame the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 58-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A game, on Friday, October 24. Draughn will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 38-14 league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).

The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their game against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A game with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, R-S Central was knocked off by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 45-26, in a league outing.
