The First State Military Academy Bulldogs football team scored 47 points and held the visiting Early College Hornets to 0 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Saturday, October 25. First State Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 40-7 non-league loss to Tatnall (Wilmington, DE).

The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Patriots come into the 1A District 3 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Newark Charter School was overwhelmed by Seaford (Seaford, DE), 33-7, in a league outing.
