The Edgewood Warriors overwhelmed the host Jefferson Area Falcons football squad by a count of 49-7 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeside for a Chagrin Valley - Lake test on Friday, October 24. Edgewood will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 50-49 league loss to Conneaut (Conneaut, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 1-8.
With the defeat, Jefferson Area drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Geneva (Geneva, OH) to face the Eagles in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Friday, October 24. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Geneva won 35-7 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Madison, OH)
