Illinois High School Football - Elmwood/Brimfield defeated by Macomb

In Friday's league game, the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) football team were victorious over the visiting Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans (Elmwood, IL), by a score of 42-13.

In their next game, the Bombers face the Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley Miners (Lewistown, IL) in a Lincoln Trail-Prairieland - Large game, on Friday, October 24. Macomb will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 0-8 record after their 42-0 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, IL).

With the defeat, Elmwood/Brimfield drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Illini West (Carthage, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a Lincoln Trail-Prairieland - Large outing on Friday, October 24. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Illini West won 42-22 in their recent non-league outing against Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL)
