The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers ran past the host Wewahitchka Gators football squad by a count of 42-15 in Friday's non-league test.
The Baby Rattlers now hold a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sneads for a non-league test on Monday, October 20. FAMU DRS will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 46-16 non-league win over Lighthouse Private Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, Wewahitchka drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Gators host Jay (Jay, FL) to meet the Royals in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Jay won 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against South Choctaw Academy (Toxey, AL)
