Florida High School Football - Westminster Academy overwhelmed by Florida Christian

In Friday's league game, the Florida Christian Patriots (Miami, FL) football team triumphed over the host Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL), by a tally of 52-16.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Miami Beach Hi-Tides (Miami Beach, FL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 23. Florida Christian will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Hi-Tides come into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 29-20 non-league win over Coral Gables (Coral Gables, FL).

With the defeat, Westminster Academy drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Somerset Academy South Homestead (Homestead, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league outing on Friday, October 24. The Hurricanes come into the outing with a record of 1-7. Somerset Academy South Homestead lost 35-14 in their recent non-league outing against Archbishop Carroll (Miami, FL)
