The Floyd Central Highlanders football squad scored 42 points and limited the host New Albany Bulldogs to 6 in the Highlanders league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 31. Floyd Central will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 37-7 league loss to Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN).
