Texas High School Football - Franklin smashes Socorro

The Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) football trounced the host Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX), 52-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Cougars now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastlake for a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, October 24. Franklin will battle a Falcons team coming off a 49-7 league win over Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Spartans enter the 6A Region I District 1 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Pebble Hills was trounced by Eastwood (El Paso, TX), 17-14, in a league game.
