The Wilson Lakemen football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Franklinville/Ellicottville Titans to 6 in the Lakemen league triumph on Friday.
The Lakemen now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newfane for a Section 6 D challenge on Friday, October 24. Wilson will face a Panthers team coming off a 36-26 league win over Gowanda/Pine Valley Central (Gowanda, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.
The Titans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Silver Creek/Forestville Central (Silver Creek, NY). The Black Knights enter the Section 6 D challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Silver Creek/Forestville Central bounced Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY), 47-12, in a league test.
