Alabama High School Football - Southside trounced by Gadsden City

Gadsden City Titans (Gadsden, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL), 42-7 in a league match.

The Titans (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region 8 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Mae Jemison was routed by Buckhorn (New Market, AL), 6-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) in a 6A Region 8 battle, on Friday, October 24. Southside will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 38-12 league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL).
