Florida High School Football - Gateway falls to Lakewood Ranch

The Lakewood Ranch Mustangs felled the host Gateway Eagles football team by a score of 36-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Parrish Community Bulls (Parrish, FL) in a 6A District 11 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Lakewood Ranch will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulls go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 14-6 league win over Lennard (Ruskin, FL).

The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Cape Coral (Cape Coral, FL). The Seahawks come into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Cape Coral fell by Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL), 25-15, in a non-league game.
