Michigan High School Football - North Central sneaks past Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield]

The North Central Jets football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] Miners to 34 in the Jets league triumph on Friday.

The Jets now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a Great Lakes - West (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 24. North Central will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 38-36 league loss to Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.

The Miners (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wright (Ironwood, MI). The Red Devils enter the Great Lakes - West (8 Man) challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Wright was edged by North Central (Powers, MI), 42-0, in a league challenge.
