In their next game, the Cougars face the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a 5A District 2 game, on Friday, October 24. Grayson County will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Purples enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 17-14 league win over Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY).

The Dragons (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Barren County (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans enter the 5A District 2 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Barren County fell by Macon County (Lafayette, TN), 29-14, in a non-league game.
