In Friday's league match, the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles football squad scored a decisive 48-14 triumph over the Greenup County Musketeers.
The Golden Eagles (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats come into the 4A District 6 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Blazer routed Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 48-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Musketeers meet the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Greenup County will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 35-14 league loss to Boyd County (Ashland, KY).
