Massachusetts High School Football - Worcester Academy nudges Greenwich Country Day

In Friday's league match, the host Worcester Academy Hilltoppers football squad scored a close 24-17 victory over the Greenwich Country Day Tigers.

The Hilltoppers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA). The Governors enter the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Governor's Academy was nudged by Thayer Academy (Braintree, MA), 16-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) in a Evergreen battle, on Saturday, October 25. Greenwich Country Day will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 27-21 league win over Canterbury School (New Milford, CT).
