In Friday's league match, the visiting Musselman Applemen football squad scored a decisive 53-0 triumph over the Hedgesville Eagles.
The Applemen (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars come into the Eastern Panhandle match with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Jefferson triumphed over George Washington (Charleston, WV), 34-33, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, Hedgesville drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Park View (Sterling, VA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-4. Park View won 14-8 in their recent non-league test against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA)
