Pennsylvania High School Football - Mechanicsburg nudges Hershey

In Friday's league match, the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats football squad scored a close 7-0 victory over the Hershey Trojans.

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Greyhounds go into the Mid-Penn - Keystone battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Shippensburg nipped Northern York (Dillsburg, PA), 28-7, in a league battle.

The Trojans now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Waynesboro for a Mid-Penn - Keystone match on Friday, October 24. Hershey will confront a Indians squad coming off a 41-17 league loss to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-7.
